These are recipies that I either made up or altered from some I had found. Substitute as you wish and make them your own too. ~3 Bean Chili~ 1 or 2 cans black beans-drained and rinsed, depends on if you want it chunkier or not 1/2 can each white and red kindey beans or choose one-drained and rinsed 2 onions-chopped 1 green pepper-chopped 3/4lbs to 1lb ground turkey or beef or chicken 5 or more cloves garlic-minced worcestershire sauce to taste ground black pepper 1 small can tomato paste (low/no salt if desired) 1 large can diced tomatoes (low or no salt if desired) salsa if desired or use water 1/3 or 1/2 small jar chili powder hot pepper sauce to taste Cook turkey and garlic in a saute pan adding ground pepper and worcestershire. Layer onions, g.pepper, and beans in cooker. Pour in turkey mixture. In a bowl mix tomato products and chili powder. Pour in. Add water till 1" remains from the top. High for 2-3 hours and stir once then low till ready to eat. Top with cheese, sour cream etc. (low or not fat of course) ~Beef Stew~ 3 sm-med potatoes, peeled and diced or use turnips 6 or so carrots, peeled and diced or use squash 1-2lbs stew beef, cut in 1/2" cubes 1 1/2 cups frozen peas or green beans or whatever you like pepper parsley garlic powder 1 large can V8 or store brand 1/2c beef broth (low or no salt) or water 1 envelope beffy onion soup mix 1/3c flour Mix some V8, broth, soup mix and flour in cooker. Add beef, veggies etc. Mix in remaining V8. Low 12-14hrs or High 6-7hrs can also do 3hrs high AND low 5-6hrs ~Roasted Chicken~ 1 4-6lb whole chicken 1 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon each :parsley, basil, seasoned salt, garlic powder, pepper, onion powder and creole seasoning 1 tablespoon water Remove skin and giblets from chicken. Rinse and pat dry with paper towels. Make a paste with remaining ingredients. Rub a little inside the chicken. Place in cooker, rub remaining paste on. High 3-3 1/2 hours Low 6 1/2 -7 1/2 hours ~Corned Beef and Cabbage~ 2c ho****er 1 tablespoon cider vinegar 1 tablespoon splenda pepper 1 onion, cut in wedges 1 1/2lbs corned beef brisket or round 4 sm potatoes 3/4lb cabbage Combine first 5 in cooker, add beef and potatoes. Cook on high 3 hours then add cabbage. Set to low and cook on low 5 hours ~Jambalaya~ 1lb ham steak, cubed could substitute with shrimp but add at end 1hr till done 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed 2 onions, chopped 3 ribs celery, chopped 1 green pepper, diced 1 can whole corn (low or no salt), drained or use frozen 1 large can diced tomatoes, undrained (low or no salt if desired) 1 can tomato paste (low or no salt) 1/2c water 3 cloves garlic, minced parsley pepper creole seasoning to taste 2 cups cooked cold rice Mix all in cooker minus rice. Low 9 hous add rice then cook low 1-2 more hours or 30min-1hr on high That's all I have time to type up now...Hope this gives you some ideas JR. Casey

No problem. I would have done more but my son was waking up from his nap. I'm on now for my "three minutes of peace" before we do bath time. lol I find some more recipes to post for ya soon. Casey
