Approved and Scheduled!

I have imagined this moment for a year! After reading hundreds of similar messages, ones of excitement , relief ... utter elation and a bit of terror .... I have been approved, and my surgery date is Jan 6th!! Of course I anticipated the date to be earlier....but I'll be glad to get through the holidays, and have my family come visit without the extra stress of having surgery. I have every emotion running though me right now......I have to settle down!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! WOW, that is quite soon!!! Just think, a new you for the new year!!! I hope I can come up and visit you or Kelley, one of you have to be in there while a support meeting is going on. I am so glad this is finally happening for you. GOOD LUCK!!!

Hi, Don't worry about not knowing how to feel...I was so freaked out for a while before surgery...the week before my day I cried one night for three hours straight...I guess PMS will do that to ya, lol. The surgery isn't all that easy but you can get through it like everyone else. I had to remind myself that often. But once you start feeling good, you start feeling better then youjust feel great and it doesn't stop. Good luck to you. Casey
