70 pounds and still losing
Hello everyone, What a busy life! I had Lap RNY in June 2003. I went to see the dietician on the 4th. I am now down 70 lbs! I broke the 200 lb mark!!!! Started at 256 and am now at 186 lbs, I've gone from a size 26/28 to a 16 . My Husband can get his arms all the way around my waist now & can feel my ribs! What a wonderful feeling that is! I've been busy with going to college full time student (not an easy task since I've been away from academics for over 25 years). But, I'm working on a whole new life, and it is fantastic!
Yeah Cindy!! Congratulations. I do not think I will ever lose enough in my butt to get to a smaller size. I can't seem to find any one excersice that will make it smaller. Any suggestions?
I saw your story in ObesityHelp magazine. It was fantastic!!!! Congratulations on that also. You are an awsome person and an inspiration to us all.
Wow Cindy: I weigh more than you did in June now and my surgery is Dec. 4th. It is so encourging to read posts like yours. I also read your article in the magazine. You know, my mind still cannot grasp that in 4 months I might be under 200 pds and in a smaller size. I keep wanting to order clothes from Cold Water Creek in my usual 2X - 3X but fear I would be wasting money. Trying to hold off from buying anything new. I can't think of a better Christmas gift for yourself and your family--a new and healthier you! My family is not as supportive--they only hear the bad stuff and the death at Brigham and Young is not helping. Did you have Dr. Toder and was it lap or open? I wanted Lap for months, now I am thinking of open.
Anyway, well done--hope to meet you sometime at a support group. I will be going on the 12th.
Congrats and best wishes,
Jane
