Flu Shot

I will probably call Dr. Toder's office this week but just in case---my surgery is 12/4---anyone know of any reason why I should not have a flu shot this month?

I can not see there being any reason you could not have the flu shot, but it doesn't hurt to call.

Hi Jane, I really don't about the flu shot. I was thinking the same thing recently in a conversation with a nurse and she mentioned something about it..that it does something in the way of preventing blood clots, so it "may" be advantageous!?!?! I'll have to research. Check in if you find anything out! Lauren

curiosity was killing me so i called dr. cloughs office. I have an appt tomorrow with my pcp and I was going to get my flu shot. Then when the question came up, I figured I better find out before Thursday. Anyways they told me it won't hurt to get it!! Kell
