bull headed

How does one deal with a friend that is bull headed? Ray had his operation last Tuesday. I brought him back to his house on Saturday because his son left for Mass. Ray took a shower and says the doc put glue on his stitches and the glue acts as water proofing to keep it dry. I keep telling him he's not supposed to get his stitches wet. What do I do? I don't want him to have problems and yet he's so bull headed. Help, need suggestions..

Hi Ron, He does not have to keep the stiches or incision area dry. They have you shower in the hospital before going home and getting that area wet is no problem. In fact I think it is encouraged. If he has steri-strips the wetness will help them to come off in the reccomended 7 days. Don't worry, he is on the right track. ~Casey
