Hello Everyone! So good to see posts from people in Maine! Well, less than a week to go before my surgery. I'm not one to get too nervous or excited before a big event but I have noticed I'm a little on edge and pre-occupied (gee, i wonder why?) Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for your posts, questions etc....so good to seem them out here! I'll keep you all posted! Thanks for your support! Sue

HI Sue! I am SO excited for you! One more week! YIPPEEEE! Gee, I wonder, too, why are you a bit edgy? We'd have to worry if you weren't! Hopefully, you can stay busy and at the same time, keep as relaxed as possible until your big day arrives. You're still stuck in the hardest part of the journey - the wait - it's a cake walk from here on (that would be a cake made with Dr. Atkins baking mix and Splenda, of course!)! Prayers, Jo

Hi Sue , You are not alone in being nervous, I think that each of us that have had the surgery, or are close to having it, have felt that same, nervousness. Be prepared, the night before surgery, it may get worse, it did for me, I got really scared, even cried a bit. Then the morning of surgery, I was so busy I never gave it another thought, the next thing I know, I'm waking up in my room. Now I'm down to a size 18, from a 28. You are going to be fantastic!
