It finally happened

It finally happened, I'm down to 300 pounds!!!! I started out at 392 and lost 27 pounds before surgery on June 20, and have lost 65 pounds since surgery. I hope I can loss another 35 pounds before I see My surgeon on 12/17. Just about every week I'm going through my closet and throwing more cloths out. I was wearing one of my 30/32 shirts yesterday, when I was walking in to a store and a big gust of wind came up and blew my shirt up since it is so big on me now. I can actually fit into an X-large shirt now, it's tight but it fits.

WOW, Jennifer that is EXCELLENT news!!! Congratulations! I am sure you will lose another 35 before you see Dr Clough, you are doing so wonderful. I love putting on smaller clothes too. DH is going to start wondering where all the clothes are coming from. Right now he is assuming they are all old clothes, but I have actually bought some new ones. LOL Just wait you will get the "shopping bug" too soon. Good luck and keep up the great job.

Actually, I did do a litle shopping in August and I have several gift cards to fashion bug that I got for my Birthday last month, just waiting for my cloths to start falling of me more before I buy any more new cloths. Hubby and I where working around the house today re-doing the skirting around the house and I mowed the lawn and my pants where starting to fall down on me. I had to take my car keeys out of my pocket so my pants would stay up.

Congratulations Jennifer! I bet you're doing the happy dance you're smokin! You guys have inspired me with all your emoticons. Hope this works! I wanted you to know that I was really concerned about you when you posted your sad post a couple weeks ago. I tried to post a supportive reply, but somehow it never made it. I like the peole here on the Maine board for support. The other board has lots of knowledgable people, but can sometimes be nasty. Take care and looking forward to hearing more good news!
