Is it true that we will save money on food after the surgery? How about 6 months and 2 years later? Thanks Ron in Corinna

Hi Ron, I have not saved any money on food other then maybe we do not go out to eat nearly as often. I still have to buy food for the rest of the family, then I buy special items for myself on top of that. I like to buy a nice 3/4 slab of lean ham to eat during the week, or watermelon and grapes. The rest of the family of course can have these but they get THE LOOK from me if they eat it all. LOL

Hi Ron, Nice to see ya at the meeting! We haven't really saved money on food...I think we may be spending a little more now. It is more expensive to buy fresh fruits/veggies and lean meats than it is to get pizza and chips. But maybe over time we will figure out a way to spend less and still suit our needs. Also the whole trial and error phase will give you a dent in the wallet. Maybe you'll have more luck in this area than me... Casey
