Gall Bladder/Dr. Toder

I had my appointment today with Dr. Toder and she was great. I happen to enjoy her dry sense of humor. I have been very pleased with everyone at EMMC from Lynn to Dayna to Dr. Prescott, office staff and Dr. Toder. What a great group. Dr. Toder mentioned to me instead of acid reflux disease I might also have gall bladder disease. I can't believe it! On meds for acid reflux(which I do need) but my primary MD never mentioned gall bladder---I could have had that removed four years ago when the vomiting started and be done with it. Now, I may have that removed along with the bypass. Geez!!!! However, at least we discussed that it may be a possibility. I hope to be approved and schedule the surgery in December. My work load is heavy and need to get things in order---then I should be able to take six weeks medical leave and stay home during December and heal and get used to my new insides!!!!! I am excited and realistic. Jane
