Looking for support meetings

Hi all! I live in NB right along the Maine border, and read somewhere here that there is a wls support group that meets in Caribou. I had adjustable gastric banding done in Montreal Quebec on May 17, 2003 and so far I'm down 63 lbs! Horray! I belong to several Yahoo groups and have family in Ontario so I have met quite a few people who belong to a support group when I visit there, but it would be wonderful to have a group close to home to go to regularly. Hi Mary Jane, I went to my first support group meeting at Cary this past month. It's a nice group, I reallly enjoyed it. The coordinator, Marilyn was talking about efforts to have the meeting in unison with the Bangor group via satellite. I suppose it's a goal for the future. I hope to make it to the next meeting at Cary.... Congrats on your success! ~Lauren
