How Long?

I have had the psych eval, and next is the one on one with the dietitian. Then its with Dr. Clough. Don't know when that will be, but I hope its soon. Can anyone tell me how long you waited after the visit with the surgeon? I sure would like this to be over before Christmas!

After your appointment with Dr Clough they send everything into your insurance for approval, once they have approval it is about 5 weeks to your surgery. (give or take a week) good luck!

Hi Linda, I had my one on one visit with Dr. D'Augustine in late April/early May. I went to my meeting with a dietitian (only thing required by Anthem) and received a surgery date by the end of May. They gave me October 14, 2003, which seemed like an eternity to wait. But here we are, about 4 weeks away, I just got my appointment for pre-admission testing and I'm sure the next few weeks will fly by as I arrange all I have to for surgery. I know it takes forever, but the end result will be worth it!

I was also wondering how long it would be. Linda, it sounds like we will be going through the process around the same time. I had my psych eval today, and I have an appt. with the dietician on the 19th. Hopefully someone will be able to give us a time frame. It would nice to have our new tool by New years.
