Sure has been quiet around here. Everyone OK? I don't think Maine wa**** with the power outage was it? I am way up north but wasn't sure if some of southern Maine may have been hit...Best wishes t all!!

Hi Kelly! It sure has been quiet on the Maine Boards! Thankfully, no power outages here in South Berwick, and I am about at far south in Maine as you can get! The New Yorkers seemed to take the black out extremely well - looked like a party atmosphere on the streets and bridges. Thank God there were not too many "bad" news stories reported. I think Kofi's surgery date was yesterday, she has been in my prayers. I hope we hear soon that her surgery went well and she's on her way to a healthier self! I am 18 days out today and feel so fantastic. I can hardly believe I had surgery - but I know they were in there - I sure do get full fast! The other day I was working, it was very humid and I was running up and down stairs with laundry and changing beds - I was REALLY hot and sweaty for the first time since my surgery, and I picked up my water bottle and swigged - WHAT A MISTAKE! Oh my gosh, tha****er hit my stomach like a ROCK! The horrid feeling passed in just a few minutes, but I don't think I will be forgetting again too soon - SIP SIP SIP! Good Luck to everyone!
