What do I need to bring to EMMC?

Hi folks, My surgery is coming up this Thursday. I feel a mixture of positive and negative anxiety--but much more positive than negative. I'd appreciate hearing from those of you who have had surgery at EMMC to learn what you brought for your hospital stay (and what you wished you had brought). Thanks, --Kofi

Hi Kofi, bring just the basics, you won't need anything else. Tooth brusha nd paste, comb and/or brush, deoderant, underwear for as long as you should be in there, and clothes to go home. they have fans up there and will give you slipper socks to put on and provide you with a jonny and robe. Most all the time you will be recovering you will either be sleeping or walking, so there is no need for books or anything else really. Oh yea don't forget your chapstick, you will really need it, but if you don't have it they do have some to give you, but it's the regular flavor. best of luck in your journey. jennifer Stanley 7 weeks out.
