My 2 week post op appointments were last Wednesday...I had lost 24 pounds as of that day. (My surgery was on June 12th) I am not weighing myself at home so I won't become obsessed with the scale. I'll have my next weight loss update at the 6 week post op appointments. On Wednesday I also saw Dayna, I can now add fruits and veggies to my diet. So a meal will consist of 1/4 c of protein and 2-3 TB of fruit or veg. I am excited to advance my diet and try things to see how well I do. So far I still haven't a single problem. No vomiting, no nausea etc. I have had a large variety of protein foods and starting a list of fruits and veggies that I can tolerate/enjoy. I have been a little sad that some foods that I really loved I can't have but seeing my big butt shrink will have to more than make up for that, lol. Anyways, I know there's not anyone on here I really know but thought I'd pop in and blab for a bit. I know I found it very interesting and helpful to read other people's experiences before I had surgery. I hope my story can be helpful to someone else. ~Casey

Hi Casey - It is great to hear that you are doing so well! 24 pounds in two weeks - that is unbelievable! It has taken me two years to lose that much! I look forward to my surgery date of July 14th (if CIGNA doesn't pee on my parade...) and I will be so thrilled if I do half as well as you have! Thanks for all the great info that you shared. I really appreciate your taking the time to tell us pre-op's what's going on in your post-op world! Best of Luck - Jo
