Sooooooooooo Busyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Hi everyone. I am so sorry that I haven't been able to get back here as of late. I have been actively seeking employment outside of Houlton, in Bangor, about 2 hours south of Houlton. Just today I have taken a temporary position with a company dispatching cement/rock etc. Believe me, only temporary. (Hopefully!!) Lynda, I have had a revision done because of alot of reasons. I had done extremely well going from 240 to 124 in about 9 months. I leveled off and stayed about 140 for many years. RNY performed in 1982. My weight started to return after my cancer diagnosis (Leukemia) in 1997. With the help of God and two very powerful chemo drugs, I was cancer free within a year. This combined with my inability to do much for such a long period of time led to my weight going to 230. Ugh!! But from what I understand, the procedure that I had originally has been updated. For this I am thankful. I had my revision done 12/3/02 at 230 lbs. and I'm plateaued right now at 180. Dr. Aslam has told me my weight will come off slower, but as long as it still goes down..................I'm happy. I wish that there was some way to get to Augusta to their support group meeting, I have followed the original Dr. A message board for so long I feel that I know everyone!! Good luck to all!
