Hi Darly,

Congrats on your surgery.  I had a different type of surgery, but if you're having any question about pain, please call your surgeon's office.  There's no way to know if your pain is "normal" or not unless you speak to someone at your surgeon's office about it.  Your surgeon's office also should have prepared you for your post-op diet - how much protein you need to be getting in, etc.  If you're not able to get in the amount that your surgeon told you for more than a day or so, then you really need to call them.  But I'd definitely call them about the pain.  Hope you feel better!

Take care,
Amy

Questions regarding pain---call Northeast Surgery...there is always someone on call. Regarding nutrition, call a dietitan at SWLP.  I recently had the same oricedure with no side effects.  I wish you well and extend my prayers for your success.

Good Morning! Patty,

I did go to a Staying on Track class last night. Very caring, very supportivegroup. Just a note to let you know, I do appreciate all your input towards me, and for all the help you have given & been to me. You are firm yet caring. it means so much.

I am still doing good. I am still abstinent of any of my binge / trigger foods. No sugar, no sweets, no candy, or chips of any kind. 8 days thus far, as of today. Thank-you, again, Patty.

Your SWL friend,
Lynda H.

I agree, any pain or concerns should be reported to your surgeons office promptly...
