Has anyone had this surgery twice?  I was 224, went down to 124 and am now back up to 174! UGH!  how did that happen?  Stress and over eating.  Anyways, I'm wondering if there is a surgeon that will do a 2nd surgery, if insurance will pay, if not how much does it cost to pay out of pocket, can i have lap band after having gastric bypass?  I would do it all again tomorrow if i could and this time I would stick to a diet regime!

Does anyone have any answers to my questions???

I don't know the answer to your questions, but I bet Dr. Toder's office would be able to answer at least most of those for you...942-5241, I think it is.  :-)

Good luck, let us know what they say?

There is a  get back on track   class on the third monday of the month at  the Diet and nutrition center.   They will not do second surgeries in bangor.  You may find someone in  Portland  or lewiston that might do it.  YOu can also try the  5 day pouch test that can help get you back  on track.  I  bet your tool still works if you follow the plan and rules.   We have support group in bangor  on the first friday and the  third tuesday of the month also.  We do have people that have gained some of there weight back start there.   Would love to have you come.!!!  Take care and good luck !!!

Make an appointment with the NUTS. They can help you asses what's going on.

Snacking, no exercise or not enough exercise can be parts of the problem. Statistics show that several years out we can experience gains.

Been there, getting back on track. Unfortunately they didn't do any surgery on my brain.  My old habits and cravings came back. But my pouch still works when I feed and care for myself correctly.

In the computer biz, which I am in, we call that a "software problem."  :-)
