So what's normal?
So I am exactly 2 months out today. I have lost 33 pounds since surgery. 20 pounds the first 30 days and the just 13 for the last month. I know I need to exercise more-I do not do it everyday. I usually walk on my lunch for 30 minutes mon-fri if it is not raining too hard. and I have done 20-30 minutes on my elliptical about 2-3 times a week. I guess this is not enough.
I would like to know what is working for you-how much exercise is enough to keep the scale going down. I am up to the 800 calorie mark starting last week. I have not been getting the 600 calories that I could have. My proteins have been near the 60 mark-but should go up to 80.
I am feeling a little discouraged and disappointed in myself.
I have my 2 month check-up this week with my Dr. I just feel like I haven't done enough and I regret it.

There is no normal weight loss all numbers are average. That said I too feel like i've hit a plateau of sorts. I lost 40 pounds very quickly and then wham not so much. I feel we need to exercise every day to keep the scale going down. But like you with the rain and such I haven't been getting enough. Just gotta keep trying and keep at it. It will come off, be sure to get your protien in first and then the rest. I my go back onto liquid protiens for a week to see if that jump starts the scale going down again. Be careful with the holidays and Good luck. Keep posting!
Thanks for the encouragement. I just exercised for 20 minutes on my elliptical with a program that takes you up to a level 5 for most of the workout time. My goal this week is to do this program each morning. I hope that this will help get me into the exercise grove. I have heard that once you get into a good routine your body will crave the exercise. I am hopeful.
And yes 4 pounds a week is great-I am just use to loosing the one pound a day. It did happen but it doesn't now. You will see what I mean. I do weight myself each morning and it does seem to get me down a little bit now. But when the scale goes down I am hyped. I have thought about laying off the scale for awhile.
Reflecting back at my weight loss painted a picture that i thought should have been more successful. But I am successful with my program.
Keep up the good work everyone. We can do this.
