1 month
So it's been one month since my surgery and I'm still (mostly, LOL) glad I did it. I'm down 35 lbs and mostly feel good. I had another bout of vomiting last night after chicken and a little potato. Not sure if it was too dry, too much, too fast or ??? But chicken and I are in a fight now. It makes you wonder if you'll ever be able to eat normally but I suppose I will eventually. I need to post new pictures and also take measurements again to see progress.

White bread will never be your friend. There is nothing nutritious in it and you will lose your taste for it. I do a half an english muffin once in awhile, that is as close as I get. I don't do pasta either unless its Dreamfield's (low carb) and very little of that or rice or potato. It gets easier.
Just a quick note to say that I am sooo thankful to all of you for sharing your ups and downs! It is very helpful for someone like me who is just in the beginning of this journey! I need to know the bad, as well as the good, and all the helpful hints are wonderful! Good wishes to you all, and thanks again!
Solid proteins like chicken and beef (and even fish!) are still the bane of my existence, but it's getting better. I've actually found that I can tolerate more of it if it is in a frozen meal (like Lean Cuisine) - something about the way it's processed seems to make it moister/easier to digest. Very weird!
