2nd Plastics Consult 6/1 (help need input)

I had a consult on Thursday with Dr. Schassberger in Waterville and really liked him.  I am now having second thoughts as he told me he would do a tummy tuck and thigh reduction at the same time.  After researching this I discovered that this is not recommended.  (He was recommended by Dr. Toder and I have difficulty believing that she would recommend someone who is not good) I have now set up a consultation with Dr. Vaughan at Plastic and Hand in Portland.  This process is so confusing.  I would love to hear from anyone who has had plastics or know of anyone who has had plastics and what the experience has been. 

Some girls at support have had him and were pleased with him.  No he is great!!!   Ask lynn maybe she can get you some people who have had plastics with him or ask  Schassbers office .

I cant help but have heard he was good.

hello i just had a bad tummy tuck in dec of 2009 i really had two back too back surgerys , i had dr alan hartmatz of plastic and hand  which he is now in central maine plastic in lewsiton , anyways i was real healthy blood work was fine now im having trouble with iron levels and it is becuase i lost so much blood from the first surgery i had three blood clots , and my size makes me have surgery by surgery i had so much skin too be taken off i have flaps on the sides too be taken off at later time so , so i guess there would have too be different  plastic work done on different people at the same time  , so i will meet with dr vaughan  i will vist few now i settled with hartmatz  i will not settle again , and every plastic guy is different  they all do different things so do more then others , so its about bang for the buck , i will not be so quick this time

Thanks Patty!  I think I will call Lynn tomorrow.  I actually met someone today that had a breast reduction in 1991 and she highly recommends him.  I am feeling better now.

David sorry to hear you haven't been happy with your surgery.  :(

naa its not that im not happy with it , i just want people too get the best they can for themeselves its alot money too be spending on this ,
