Pouch party???
Wow! Motivated people make things happen!
Hi, I'm Nikki, co-owner of Pouch Party. I saw a few folks ask what a Pouch Party is. Do you all watch Food Network? If you do, think Rachel Ray+Good Eats+ Emeril all rolled up into one. We do cooking demonstrations, games that teach you about good food choices, prizes and most importantly tastings!
Parties generally have some sort of theme (usually picked by the hostess) and the theme would dictate the price per person. We try to keep parties between $15-20 per person. And everyone leaves with something whether it be a slew of new recipes, door prizes, food, etc. We try to make it fun and educational.
My partner Jen and I would LOVE to come party in Maine! Perhaps then I can learn the real deal on Lobsters (I am from MD...we know crabs...lobsters not so much). If you'd like to see an actual party with guests and all check it out here. As Kelli so kindly pointed out we also have a recipe blog called Bariatric Foodie. That one is very interactive so put it on your feed if you like what you see. We often have readers vote for the next recipe made (as was the case for the current post "Mexican Lasagna").
Our motto is that there is NO food that can't be made WLS friendly. I hope we can get it together to come to Maine!
