Moving right along....

Things are moving rather quickly now, which is good, but its quite overwhelming.  I have attended the orientation class (still have to do the support group)

I had my nutrition class and physical therapy appt Wednesday (4/14)  Dietician coming up on May 5th and my Psych appt is in May!

When I checked in yesterday at the Nutrition class of course I got weighed...I had an idea of what I weighed, but was not 100% sure.  I was so embarassed at the number...this is the heaviest I have ever been.  It's time I did a complete 180 and take control of my life.

I am about to get the best tool to help me (the surgery) and I know that it is just that, a tool..I have to do my part, which I am 100% ready and willing to start.  I've been weaning myself off soda for the past couple of weeks and trying to get more water into my regimine.  Now that its getting nicer outside I am looking forward to getting out and walking!

A new beginning is finally on the horizon :)

Congratulations on your progressing through the WLS process. It is an eye opening experience which really makes you face your demons along the way. Good for you getting off sodas and relying on water.

This is a learning process. Use this time pre-surgery to learn, change some habits and get some exercise into your plans. The more you do now the better the scales will register at your next visits and surgery will be an easier procedure.
