Surgery #3 in a year? I hope not....

So, I have had "gas" pain all through my abdomen and constant belching since Monday. I figured it was just a stomach bug and that is how my new body was responding to it since there really isn't any stomach contents to "rid" itself of.  But by yesterday I'd had enough and called my PCP.  She has increased my protonix to two a day but says if it isn't better by next week then we will have to do bloodwork and have a scan to check my gallbladder for disease.

I really don't want another surgery, so keep your fingers crossed for me that it's just a stomach bug and will go away!

Kelly, if you do have to have your gallbladder out it is only a day surgery and you're all healed in a weekend (in most cases). I am getting mine out after Morgan is born in July....but I hope for th best for you since I know surgery is a pain!

Good luck, why does your's have to come out?  (BTW, my only niece is named Morgan, pretty name).

I have "many" stones...I found out while pregnant so I have to wait! I was going to have it out while pregnant per doctors advice but I decided to wait...so far so good (knock on wood))

I am very excited to have my little Morgan around, I just thought of the name and it stuck not really sure what made me come up with it!
