Yikes! tomorrow I get to meet my surgeon, Dr. Huang for the 1st time.  I am both excited and petrified lol.  I'm not sure exactly what to expect at the appointment...

On a side note, I've been loving my CPAP machine, talk about feeling a thousand times more rested!  I've used it every single night, and dream every night too!  It had been so long since I had a dream I couldn't believe it lol.

I've been walking with my kido's around the park, sometimes its a half a mile, sometimes a whole mile depending on how my feet feel, etc.  Not sure if I have lost a lot of weight or not by doing it because no scale will hold me that I can buy in the store...but my clothes feel like they fit better so I guess thats a good sign.

Wonder how much longer before there is a surgery date...I think someone said it can take 6-9 months but is that from when you first start the program? or from when you finally get to meet the surgeon?

Hope everyone is doing well! :)  I'll let ya all know how it goes tomorrow.

Good luck with the surgeon's meeting.

CPAP- isn't it amazing the difference?

I couldn't believe it myself after I started using mine pre-op. I'm 1 1/2 yrs out. had another sleep study and don't need it anymore.

I am going through that office too but have Dr. Todor.  My first meeting I attended was mid July and I have my surgery next week so it's a process.  Part of my hold up was my insurance required me to be in the program for 6 months before they would approve me (Harvard Pilgrim) and so that made it take longer because they won't schedule a date till the insurance has approved you.  Use this time to learn all you can and practice and exercise and prepare.  It goes faster than you'd think and takes forever all at once!
