Breast redux approval
Hi everyone,
I just got a phone call yesterday from the plastic surgeon's office...my breast reduction was approved, and scheduled for April 28th! I've wanted one my entire adult life, even before I became heavy, so this is exciting.
Of course there is the fear of the unknown. If anyone out there has had a reduction, I'd love to hear from you. How bad was the pain after? Did you spend the night at the hospital? How long did the swelling take to go down? Any other info you care to throw my way would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I haven't, but I have a friend who had hers and it went very easily for her. It was an outpatient surgery and she was home within several hours. Actually, one of her kids went into the hospital that evening so she wasn't even really able to take it easy and she still healed up fine. Now she doesn't even need a bra (even though she is still a D, they are nice and perky and all that jazz).
Congrats on the approval and good luck!
