uncharted waters

well today i realized, while shopping at TJ MAX, that i am moving into uncharted waters with my weight loss. I put on a size 16 today and well i cant remember when i last put on a pair of size 16 pants. when i was in high school i was in an 18 and i might have worn a 16 in elementary school. I am 31 years old y'all. I am still losing weight and I don't recognize my self at all. I am a little vain lately, in the respect that i keep looking in mirrors or windows or any thing that will cast a reflection.  I look more because i don't recognize my self then enamored with my self.

Wow  Sara  you are doing great and  I am so proud of you.,   It  was great  to get out of the 20 sizes and  I am now  a 12 and 14 depending on who makes them.  I still like extra large shirts but i can wear  larges mostly.  I havent been in a  12 since high school either.  

I still love shopping for clothes  even tho i dont really need anymore  got to  get most of my dress clothes done shopping for  for fall and winter then i will work on summer  dress clothes which i dont need many  i have shorts for summer just now need a few tops and t shirts.    I go away to rhode island in may and   most of the evenings we dress up  (more than jeans and t shirts)   and then we have  theme nights so it should be fun.  I also like being able to buy jeans that  zip and button and not just  pull on.  I also  keep looking into mirrors when i walk by them   i use to  avoid them and the scale.

I know what you mean... I coudn't wait to get to shop on the "other" side of Fashion Bug, and now that I can they mix all the sizes in together!! argh!!! 

Yeppers...I remember being 12 and wearing 12's in Jr High.  I'm quite content staying at this size and I think my body is too bc it hasn't moved in over 6 months.  Just wish I could afford to do something about the extra skin!  That would probably drop me down another 20lbs or more....lol  It feels very liberating to be able to walk into ANY store and be able to buy clothes off the rack!  Congrats and keep working hard!
