2-weeks post-op, lost 25 pounds -- total = 100!
I am excited today . . . after a couple of days of the scale barely moving, and clearly waiting for the day AFTER support group, the scale dropped another 3 pounds. That means I am down 25 pounds since my surgery two weeks ago today! Add that to my 75 and I am now down 100 pounds from my high weight! Very exciting -- to me anyway ;)
Of course, I started super-sized so I still have a long way to go, and it would actually take 200 more pounds to get to "insurance weight" but I am not really aiming that low.

I will try to make the meeting on Saturday . . . I have these nerves about being the fattest person in the building and walking around with an oxygen tank if I am totally compliant (which I usually am not!). I have been meaning to stop by for that protein sample you were going to pass along, but in the afternoon my kids are pretty impatient to get home and I didn't really think about the fact that I would always have them with me (it's a different drive pattern than the last few years).
I am planning to be there on Monday for that meeting . . . unless I end up having to go in to Miller as something happened there today that has my hackles up.
Insurance weight is getting down to the perfect weight/BMI that is in all those charts in doctor's offices . . . probably only a few pounds from where you are now. But I am shorter than you and started more than a 100 pounds heavier, so I am not sure I will lose a total of 300 pounds and get to what the chart says I should weigh, at least not without surgery that I am not sure I am up for (I might feel differently when I start to look more like a sharpei . . . right now I mostly have that issue with my chin, which I can pinch and have it stay for several seconds).
