Great PCP visit

Went to my PCP yesterday and walked away very happy/excited.  I no longer have to take the blood thinners. My blood pressure was 108/70 and my iron levels are excellent. I'm really happy that I dont have to take the blood thinners anymore. They made me nervous.  I do have to go to Maine Spine Center to find out what is going on with my back. I have had 2 back surgeries in the past and the doctor wants to make sure there is no reoccurence. I don't really want to have to have a third surgery.  I've been having sciatica pain of late and we just want to make sure my discs are not bulging/rupturing again. I love my doctor, he is proactive rather than reactive and that counts a lot in my book.  I also called Dr. Cobean's office and my endoscopy is scheduled for February 4th.

That is great news!  That's what this journey is all about, getting healthier.  I hope your back pain is just temporary and will also improve with weight loss.

20 pounds lost during two week pre-op diet.
