Hi

Just wanted to say hi to everyone.  I am new to this site and signed up after hearing about it at a recent support meeting.  I have not had the surgery, but hope to have it this year sometime.  I've been making my appointments, and love hearing about everyone's progress.  It give me a godo idea of the progress and challenges I am about to have.  Guess thats all I got to say for now

welcome.  we promise to give you a whole lot of  challenges to think about and learn from.  this is a great place,  My first advice would be to find a few friends at your level in the process, it is so helpful and encouraging, to be going thru testing, insurance process, pre op liquid diets.  good luck, and post away.

Welcome aboard!  It seems like a long time and a lot of appointments but it goes by quickly. YOu'll be on the loser's bench before you know it.  Take time to read all the posts, you'll be amazed what you learn.

Hi Welcome!  I'm in the process too!   You have just found the most wonderful people in the State of Maine in these message boards... I started a few months ago have gotten several of the nessecary appointments out of the way.. Its an really exciting journey.. Can't wait to get healthier.  Look forward to seeing your progress too!

Welcome!  Congrats on taking those steps to being healthier!  It's a major change but well worth it!  We are all at different places in our journey so feel free to ask any questions you may have.  We may not be experts, but some of us have "been there, done that" so to speak, so we can at least tell you about our experiences.  Welcome aboard!  Don't be a stranger!
