spot on hand

I dont know if I mentioned this, probable did,???   anyway, I'm going to dr's today for a spot i've had on my hand for about 5 months, at first I thought it was a burn, but it didnt' go away or even change in color or size.  I looked up different skin cancers and one of the pictures I saw looked just lke this spot.  so I called pcp for appt. i will let you all know, i'm sure he will send me to a dermatologist .  on a good note my DH bought me new front loader washer and dryer yesterday, they are stackable so we will be making shelves on the side of them for storage.  I am a freak about organizing closets, they are always a mess but I like making shelves and stuff. so, we need to get going on that, but need to wait for delivery first, cause the old ones are still there.  I can't wait...

EDIT:  it is called granuloma annular, not contageous, not cancer, non treatable, don't usually grow, can have it removed by surgery but will have a scar?? so we will jus****ch it.
