getting nervous -- surgery in 2 weeks

Hang in there!  I was a little worried as I take diuretics, too (for a very benign purpose, but still), but at least so far it seems to be okay and my docs didn't even blink an eye at it.  I'll know better after my surgery next week, but I think as long as you keep sipping all the time, you'll be fine.  :)

Thank you all for your kind words. I am feeling a little calmer, but now I am feeling like time is dragging way too slowly! I would really like to fast-forward through the next couple of weeks because I figure the first couple of weeks after surgery will be the hardest.

I also stopped losing on the pre-surgery diet and have been the same for 3 days now, so of course I am stressing about that!
