I guess I'm pretty negative about my journey, so let me try and come up with a possitive post.

1)  What are you most proud of that you have you done in 2009 that your proud of.  I Have NOT given up, i have my down days, but keep plugging away. I can possitively say, if I didn't keep plugging away, I'd probably be back to 260 lbs. in stead  of 198.

2) What one change have you done to your life style that you feel you will be able to continue in 2010?  making better choices, might not be 100% but I do try to have better choices, snacks, whole wheat pasta and bread available.  and when I do have it avail, I make better choices.

3)  What changes do you want to WORK on (NOT resolution), in 2010?  With my diet not being a great success, I've been very stubborn about exercise and want to step it up in my daily living, i guess and i'm hopeing it helps me loose more OR get stronger.  hubby retires in 4 months and we want to start walking and going to gym in the winter, together.

1)  What are you most proud of that you have you done in 2009 that your proud of. That I finally took the steps to make my life better, Had WLS and finally had the hysterectomy that I have needed for so many years.  Now I can exercise and feel like I have so much more freedom.

2) What one change have you done to your life style that you feel you will be able to continue in 2010?  I eat soooo differenlty than I used to. And I don't just mean quantity, obviously WLS makes that happen.  I pick up almonds or a cheese stick instead of a bowl of ice cream.  I rarely eat anything white (except cheese). When I do eat out of my norm, I don't eat it all, like pizza I eat the topping and maybe nibble on the crunchy part of the crust and instead of just eating pizza, I eat some salad first.

3)  What changes do you want to WORK on (NOT resolution), in 2010? I really want to drink more water (and less vodka) and keep up the exercise. I enjoy exercising with my DH so much and I think it's really good for our relationship.

Nothing really....I suppose maintaining is the best I can say

2) What one change have you done to your life style that you feel you will be able to continue in 2010?   trying to make healthier choices...insteaad of regular potato chips, eating the "light" ones and limiting how many of them I eat.  Now that I can eat more normal sized portions, it's harder to control how much I eat

3)  What changes do you want to WORK on (NOT resolution), in 2010........just keep plugging away and realizing that body image is in MY head, and that's something I need to work on, not anyone else

1) What are you most proud of that you have done in 2009 that your proud of.  I would have to say the changes that I implemented before surgery.  The going to the gym and reading labels and being more aware of ingredients and all that stuff.

2) What one change have you done to your life style that you feel you will be able to continue in 2010?  I'd like to say exercise and running.  I look forward to doing a 5k in early spring.

3) What changes do you want to WORK on (NOT resolution), in 2010?  I now have a lot of "me" work to do.  I need to work on being the person I was born to be.  I've gotten off track and taken the easy way over the years and I need to figure out who I am and be the best person I can be.

1)  What are you most proud of that you have you done in 2009 that your proud of. Taking the steps t o being healthier and having a life.  Learning how to live instead of exist.

2) What one change have you done to your life style that you feel you will be able to continue in 2010?  I really dont know.  I still have a lot of work to do.  I do make better choices on foods than I used to but want to do better.  I NEED to get exercising.  8 months in and no routine.

3)  What changes do you want to WORK on (NOT resolution), in 2010? Making healthier choices.  I still eat things I shouldn't just smaller amounts.  But too often.  I also need to figure out who I am and what I need.  I have always hid behind my kids and DH.  I am still struggling with that.  I have no idea how to act or what to say to people.  I always avoided them.  I think that will be my hardest challenge this year, but I will do it!  I also NEED TO get exercising.  We have a gym in the basement...no excuses other that 9 extra people living here.  (kids)
