met a very nice girl last night with the band, she had lost 75 .lbs in 6 months.    

Lots of them out there.  I was reading band blogs the other day and I felt like such a damn failure.  But....everyone is different and everyone has a different story.  How big was she to start with?  That makes a big difference in my opinion.

I agree...EVERYONE's journey is different and their goals and outcomes are different!  You have to do what works for you!  One day at a time, Cheryl!  Also depends where she started out from...You really can't compare yourself to anyone else.  I know...easier said than done!  (Been there, done that!!!)

well if I could follow a plan I never would have gotten a band...would have followed a diet.  I dunno....it's tough but we'll all get there, I have hope.

i'm not giving up hope, just mad at myself for waisting 2 years, when I know I could be at my goal if I had done what I was suppose to do.

Oh I hear ya, I was expecting to be 50+ pounds lower than I am right now.
