A year GAINED

Well i have hit the one year mark on Dec 12, 2009. I'm down about 150 lbs. I am so happy for me. Next year I pln on having some excess skin removed. I'm finally with a wonderful man. We moved in the week before thanksgiving and things have gone so great. We now have my brother and his g/f living with us so now my b/f and I have a live in babysitter for a little while. it helps out a lot. the holidays have benn really tough. i have had a lot of stress this past week or more. To be honest I am glad the holiday is over. I need to get back to some normalcy in my life.

I'm down to a size 14 in womens-NOT PLUS!!!!!!! Im in an Xlarge shirt. I haven't been this happy in a long time However the downside right now is that i am now having my period twice a month and the first one is tourcher. I am in pain and they don't know why. My regular dr wants me on asprin or ibprophine and i cant so what do they do offer narcotics. GO FIGURE. Thankfully i have a wonderful and understanding b/f who will rub my tummy and back during that time.

 

Work is going okay, stressful but thats to be expected. Looking for another job after the new year. Well i will update more later. Have a wonderful New Year all

That is so awesome Sarah!  I bet Dr. H. is some pleased with your progress!  Glad you have a nice new BF, hope all is well with you.

Wonderful! The last time I saw you I didn't recognize you at first. What an incredible change. Keep up the great work.
The holidays can get the best of us. It's over now. Relax,  get back into your normal routine.

I'm glad for you- BF, live in baby-sitters. WOW! What a change from 1 year ago when you were stressing about sleep tests, surgery, travel to Bangor etc.

Congratulations Sarah!!  You have come a long way!!  I am sorry to hear about your pain. Mine actually have become less heavy and less painful since I have lost the weight.  Maybe your PCP should send you to a specialist?

I saw you the other day at your work and couldn't believe it was you.  You look FANTASTIC!!!!  I would never guess you were in a size 145 you look much smaller.  I love the new hair style.  You seem so much happier.  So how did you meet your new guy?  I am starting to look again (very scarry...LOL)  It sounds like you are doing well.  Please keep in touch!  We still meet at Three Dogs Cafe the frist Saturday of the month at 10:00 if you can get free...we would love to see you!!!!!
