Anyone up for the challenge?

I need a buddy.  I need someone to lay it all out on the line, hand out the tough love, be a cheerleader, spew the rules at me repeatedly when I break them, etc.  I don't have that kind of support in person so I'm looking for someone via email.  I need someone I can email when the ice cream is screaming to me from the freezer or when take out seems sooooo much easier than making a meal at home.  So, if you think you're up for the challenge I would LOVE it.

I am more then willing to try, I know how you feel, but if your like me "I LIE"  if I want something I have it and just don't tell anyone.  closet eater!!!  I"m home all day. do you have instant messenger?  my name is mamaG130 if you want to talk, just send me a message.  there are many people on here that will be willing to help,  I know how frustrating the band can be.  especially when you see everyone loose 10 lbs a month.  just hang in there.

Mama would be a good one cuz she understands the band better than I.  But I need to practice what I preach myself!!! LOL

Hey Mama.....are you on Facebook much?  I use the chat there a lot but don't have instant messenger.  My 6 month bandiversary is coming right up and I weigh now exactly the same I did the day of surgery.  I cannot tell you how depressing that is.

yes, facebook all day long.  now we're gonna make this work for you.  first you need to figure out what your problems is.  we are all different and have different "Demons" 
#1:  do you drink 64 oz water a day?
#2:  stay away from white carbs, if you need to have a sandwich or pasta, eat whole grain or whole wheat.  I try to eat carbs just once a day 2 at very most.  eat alot of low carb whole wheat fahita's rather then bread

Start there, we will get you movin,  Rome wasnt' build in a day and I don't belive we need to change everything all at once.  this is going to be a change in your life, so take it slow. 

What is your #1 problem?? deserts, carbs? snacking?

#1 I don't drink the water
#2 binge snacking....once I eat one thing I crave something else, then something else
#3 boredom snacking
#4 middle of the night snacking
#5 sweets (cookies, cakes, ice cream, candy, etc......)
#6 lack of exercise though I am starting to work that back in (30 minute walks for now)
#7 not tracking what I eat or planning in advance


I appreciate the help and support.  I've done this before.  Heck, I lost 45 pounds pre-banding.  I KNOW I can.

YES< you can do this.  I think one thing is leading to the other.  FIRST THIS< starting tomorrow,

DRINK YOUR WATER ALL WEEK.  I know its xmas and there will be snacks and good food, BUT you can get in your water.  small thing, don't look at this with all the changes you have to do.  like I said "One thing at a time"  go pour yourself a HUGE cup of water right now, you can get in 40 oz today.  I will too.  doing it right now.

so your goal for this week is getting in your water, don't even think about anything else.

I will do it with you.  I do pretty good but could do better.

Do you go or are you able to go to the support meetings?  Maybe that will help?

OK, I'm mid cup of tea after a FREEZING cold walk but after this I'll start in on more water.  thanks again!
