Should I be concerned?

I don't know what is up with my pouch lately. There is nothing that I eat that agrees with me. I get sick to my stomach everytime I eat.  It does not matter if it is dry cereal or meat it all results with me feeling nauseous.  Is this par for the course or should I contact my NP?  Also, aside from the fact that I get queasy upon eating, there is nothing and I do mean NOTHING that tastes good. Nothing is appealing to me. I am finding that I have to force myself to eat.  Any input would be appreciated.

well, it may be par for the course as far as meat goes.  For me, I couldn't eat chicken because it was too dry.  Some people can't eat red meat ever. I have no problem, thank god! I love steak!  Do you get queasy with the protein shakes? You may just have to go back to the 1st stage for a while. Definitely, would contact the dietician.

I didn't have any problems but I know a lot of people have the same issues you are decsribing.  I would contact the Nut at EMMC and ask her for suggestions.  Maybe they can give you some anti-nauea meds too.

with my band I woke up wanting a steak, never lost my appatite, or taste, kinda wish I did.   no foods bother me, except for if I have a glass of milk I get cramps.  but boy nothing like a cold glass of milk, way worth the cramps.  dont have it often.  I have some foods who go down easier then others, but it is also a learning process and everyone is different.

I'd call just to be sure.  I've never experienced anything like that, but I know others have.   Let us know what they say!

I guess I should have read down through the items already posted because I just posted about the same issues you did.  I am having a very difficult time keeping food down.  I just had my appointment with Dr. Toder and she said it was normal, but I am starting to get concerned.  I agree with you, nothing tastes good or is even vaguely appealing me to anymore.
