skin irritation?

hi, was wondering if anyone had a situation like mine.   I have found since like the 2nd week after surgery (on my 4th now) that my eyes are VERY swollen, itchy and dry skin all around, especially on my eye lids.   I put on my facial lotion as usual to try to conquer the itchiness, but my skin all around my eyes are just raw feeling & very sore 

has anyone have any ideas of whats going on or have had something like this happen to them??

im heading in today for my first post op surgeon and NUT appt...so obviously hoping to get a clinical answer from one of them, but would like actual SOS (survivors of surgery) to give me their input too.

sounds like an allergic reaction.  do you wear makeup?

i wear and do the same things that i did before surgery, would that make a difference now?

it happened to me, same makeup. NON WLS related.  sometimes your body changes or we keep our make up wayyyyy too long,  try preperation H before bed.  i've been useing it and it helps with wrinkles.  I only use it once or twice a week.

Drink your water.  I have the same problem and it's because now I don't get enough water in.  I used to have NO wrinkles and now I have to put tons of lotion around my eyes, they are puffy in the am then they get red/dry/scaly as the day goes on.  I have been looking online for something that is mega moisturizing just for the eye area because I have the same issue. Let me know what the clinicla people say.
