{{{{{Christine}}}}}} You are NOT a failure!  I've been a pretty slow loser too and it does get better, especially once you are able to exercise.  What are you eating currently?  As long as you're following your Dr./Nut's advice, I'm sure you're fine.  Just be patient and things will pick up before you know it.

You are truly not a failure!  You are only 3 weeks out and your body is recovering from MAJOR surgery.  This is not a race to  lose weight....it is a journey.  Just keep following your doc/nut's plan and you'll be fine.  Are you getting your fluids and protein in?  That is most important at this point.  Once you are able to exercise, it might move a bit quicker, but you need to concentrate on feeling better first.  It'll happen.......just be patient!

Just remember that 10 pounds lost is better than if you hadn't had the surgery and gained it over the holidays!  You are doing well.  Give yourself time to finish healing and know that everyone's journey is different.  You cannot compare yourself to anyone else.  Hang in there!

 Christine,

You are not a failure.  When was the last time you lost 10lbs in 3 weeks?  Everyone loses at their own pace.  Some weeks you will have great losses and some weeks you won't   You will lose if you just keep doing what your docs and NUT's tell you to do.  Keep up the hard work and it will pay off.

you're def. not a failure and it will keep coming off.  I know how you feel though, you have your hopes up that it will happen super fast and easy.  Keep at it, you're doing great!

You're not a failure. Your body is healing. The weight will come off in due time.

As hard as it is DO NOT COMPARE yourself to others. Work your program, get your walkin in for now. You will be able to exercise when your surgeon gives you the go-ahead.

RNY works- give it time.
