Any Bandsters out there?

I have not been on this forum for awhile but I would love to get in touch with some bandsters.  I am having a hard time and need encouragement to get back on track.

I have been here all along, looking for help and encouragement.  some times i've been here alone for months.  except for RNY friends.  I"ve actually BEGGEd, for Band support.  what is going on??

I was doing great for about six months, went in for my 6 month checkup and they did an unfill, because I could not eat salads and other vegetables, ever since then I have been able to eat anything, and It was like giving me permission to do so.  So................. I have not been able to get back on track I have had a couple of fills since but I am not really with it, so to speak.  Can't seem to get back on the exercise and diet routine.  Feeling pretty down about it.

Do you go to a support group?  I go to the one at Maine bariatric.  I really don't like it because it is so unorganized and the same people talk all the time and everyone talks  in there own little groups while they are supposed to be listening to what others are saying.

I find the same things with the support groups.  Where in Standish are you?  I'm in Gorham....perhaps we could get together and walk sometime!

I dont go to support groups either.  But I recently started going to weigh****chers and It has put me back on track (For the most part)  I need the weekly routine of weighing in, it keeps me honest and accountable.  if you can do that I would HIGHLY recommend it.  BUT, you could always check out other/cheaper places to go weigh in like Over Eaters An. or just weighing in with a friend.  it is very hard to get back on track especially this time of year.  BUT now is the time to do it so you dont' gain too much and end up right where you were.  once you get back on track the exercise will come along with it, you will be encouraged to do more to keep going.  one thing at a time.  are you drinking your water???  and Journaling?
