Busy Few Days

It's been an extremely busy few days.  I did get the job that I interviewed for last week and my first day was today.  I'm temping at the MaineCare office setting up providers on the new billing system.  There's SO much info and it's really overwhelming right now but I'm sure it will get easier.

We went to NJ for the wedding this weekend and spent the day in NYC on Friday.  Of course that was the day the Yankees had their victory parade, so we got to experience some of the craziness of that.  We walked a million blocks but had a pretty good time.  The wedding was interesting to say the least.  I hadn't seen most anyone in about two years, so they were a little shocked to see me about 85lbs. lighter.  I got some good comments and some people who didn't say anything to me, but talked to each other about me.  Gotta love inlaws (or not)!

I have some pics and I'll try to upload them when I get used to this new schedule.  I have to try to figure out when to fit in the gym and everything else.  I'm going to try after work tomorrow and see how that goes.  Have a great night all!

congratulations on your new job.  wow, what a weekend, sounds like a ball.  as for the "InLaws"... we all got them.  as for mine, i'm on the other end, I havn't lost much and they are happy i havn't (waiting for me to fail).... they are people with money and are more jealous then anyone I know.  funny how that works.  I have other friends like that too???? I dont' get it.  oh, well, life goes on, be happy and proud for yourself, your've done awesome.  good luck with the new schedule.

Congrats on the new job!  Your trip sounds like fun!  I agree with Cheryl about the in-laws!  Don't know how to "take" some of them!  Just be proud of yourself and your accomplishments!  You are doing AWESOME!

Does sound crazy busy!  But you'll get the hang of it all.  I have found I have to exercise in the morning because I just don't want to do it when I get out of work. congrats!
