Wedding Rings Don't fit

I think I've lost all of my weight in my hands.  My wedding rings are falling off.  Granted, it's cold and that's part of the reason, but I'm seriously worried about losing them.  I forgot to take them off when I was doing dishes tonight and my engagement ring slipped off my hand.  I felt it and pulled it out of the sink immediately, but this isn't going to work much longers.

Does anyone know anything about getting rings "shrunk"?  I don't want to have to do this multiple times, but I also want to be able  to wear my rings without worrying about them falling off.

Suggestions, advice?

you can take your rings to any jeweler to have them resized.  They can make them smaller. I began with a size 9 and now back down to size 6. My shoe size is smaller too.  It is great!!

As a temporary fix, I went to Wal Mart and bought some plastic ring sizers.  They worked for me until I FINALLY needed to get them resized!  I need to have them sized again, but it's pretty expensive (depending where you go).  The plastic ring sizers are only about $2 and they have about 6 in the small bag.  The people in the jewelry dept can help you find them!  It's better than losing a ring!!!!!!!
Good luck!
