whole Wheat Pasta question

ok, i've been buying the ww pasta for the family, but find the "LIttle" boxes they have to be sooo expensive,  I used to buy the pasta bye the "Huge" bag.  I would need to buy 6 boxes a week, which would be like $15.  that is crazy.  so, I bought a bag of Hannaford ww egg noodles. which go further and are cheaper.  do any of you have any suggestions?  I'm trying to cook healthy for the family, but the cost is out of control.

Have you checked BJ's to see if they have the whole wheat pasta cheaper?  or maybe online?

I have bought large "boxes" at Sam's before, as a matter of fact because I don't eat pasta anymore I don't cook it and still have a lot of it.  When we get together I'll bring it and give it to ya!

thanks guys, I need to go to BJ's soon, so I will look.  I also dont' eat it, but the whole family is trying to eat healthier.  "Its expensive to feed a family" HEALTHY... I see why american's are so unhealthy and overweight. 

Yeah, you can get a healthy salad at a restaurant for like eight bucks or you can get 4 double cheeseburgers and 4 fries and McD's.

it is ridiculous that it costs so much to eat healthy!! isn't it? 

It is horable that the most nutritious foods are the most expensive.  Really I belive this is why the poor in america are getting so fat!! I buy half the food I use to buy and spend the same!!  I have to shop around and buy on sale! hanaford and shaws always have a few organic food/ health food idems on sale each week. I have to shop the sales to get good food!!!
