another day, yet i'm frustrated how about you?

well, i'm back, i was so good, did so much exercise yesterday, between walking 2 miles, stacking wood for 45 mins, and swimming 20 laps yesterday, did my weigh****chers to the t for 2 days, and got on scale today and it read the same damn thing.  I think that is why I don't believe in exercise, everyone says that is the main ingredient for loosing weight.  well, i guess my body don't think so, or has never been told this.  i have many times exercised and always gainned weight.  i'm going to continue walking and swimming cause of the 5 k i plan on doing in March,  I have always lost weight faster without the exercise.  But now, at 51 years old, i think my body just don't want to loose anymore, i have tried everything, no carbs, low fat, no sugar, exercise, protein, weigh****chers, veggies only. and don't say "Don't give up" because I have fought this a long time and never given up, frustrated YES, but give up, i never did.  The only thing this band has done for me, has slowed down my eating.  well, today is a new day "AGAIN" i'm not going to exercise today, my knees and neck need a break.  I will however stack some more wood and maybe go for a 10 min. power walk up my hill and back, just to get a little cardio. no big plans, cleanning, laundry, stripping beds.

B:  2 coffee's 1 egg 1 toast
L:  Salad
S:  yogurt
D:  Chicken w/ cabbage
S:  Jello

DInner plans:  Chicken in rf Alfredo sauce over no yoke noodles (for family) w/corn

I'm at work, hope to hear from the surgeon so I will know my hysterectomy date and can start all the paperwork at work. 

B: skim milk
B2: wake up wrap
S: coffee
L: tunafish
S: some pistachio crisps and turkey jerky
D: salad
S: ??

Funny, you know how you grow up eating certain vegetables with certain main meals?  Like my Mother always served green beans and baked potatoes with meatloaf, and we always had cream corn with ham and biscuits.  Well we always had peas with chicken alfredo, so my mind went, "What?  Corn??"  kinda funny.


20 pounds lost during two week pre-op diet.

I hear your frustration Cheryl!  Maybe the exercise is adding muscle weight?  I dunno what to tell you!   I feel for you though as I gained 8 pounds since yesterday! YEAH YEAH, I KNOW!  It's all from the IV fluids and stuff, but still aggravating!

I'm still feeling kinda bloated and full of that gas they pump into your belly,  and not much is sounding good to eat.  I have no appetite (can you imagine???  ME!!!  NOT want to eat??!!!!??!!  That's a FIRST!  haha)

No real plan for the day, but here goes:
B:  2c ff milk
L:  ??
D:  ??
Who knows!?!?!   Just not feeling it right now!

I, for once, am feeling more positive!  I did a few shakes and a small meal yesterday plus went to the gym, jogged the quarter mile home, grabbed my neigher and went for a 30 minute walk.  The scale is down 2.6 today, only 6 more to get down to my low so I can keep losing, bah.

Today's plan:
B:shake
L: shake
S:tuna
D:shake
S:yogurt

DP is working ALL day so no gym time for me today.  I'll have to get a walk at some point.

I'm so sorry that things are frustrating for you Cheryl.  I wish I knew what to tell you.  Weight loss is such a mystery sometimes, isn't it?

B:  TJs Blueberry Greek Yogurt
S:  Click shake
L:  Southwestern Turkey Veggie mixture
S:  A few pita chips w/Tzatziki dip
D:  A little Dreamfields spaghetti w/sauce and chicken meatballs
S:  probably some nuts or cottage cheese

I'm going to try to make some Carbquick pancakes today to freeze.  I'll let you know how they come out.  I was going to go to the gym but talked myself out of it because I have to get some groceries and whatnot.  Hope everyone enjoys the day!

Sorry to hear your frustration.  Has your nutritionist ever given you the test to measure your metabolism?  That may give you some insight.  Exercise is good for you even if you don't lose weight too.  :)
