I Hate my job, so much....

I just don't know what to do, I can't afford to take a job that pays too much less, but being sick to your stomach just to go to work every day isn't any fun.  I HATE IT HERE!

I really feel for you Kelly, I know how you feel, I felt like that for 20 years, and 6 of those I was being sexually & Mentally harrassed. it was hell.  I LOVE MY job now, money is great, working at home is awesome.  (boreing at times) but when I think of the hell i went thru I'll deal with the boredom.  Hope you can find something different, best of luck to you.  what do you do?

That is horrible, I feel like Im mentally abused here.  The people that work around me just pretend I'm not here. They don't speak to me (because their boss is mad at me and they don't want to upset her) and I feel very lonely and isolated. I am an accountant without a degree, I still have about ten classes to get my degree and so finding a job with comparable pay isn't going to happen.  I think I  may ask to have my office moved, then maybe it won' t feel so awful.  What did you do before?

well, to make a long story short, I worked in a factory for 15 years, and worked on 2nd shift and never saw my kids, so I took a job on first shift in a department that was all men.  I HAD MORE SIGNORITY THEN ANY OF THEM, and they had BIG issues with me and treated me SOOOO badly, you name it, cat calls, told me if I let them touch my breast they would leave me alone for the day, i could go on forever.  I would cry, 24/7, at work and at home.  the supervisors looked the other way cause they were all friends.  the day i left they lined up and clapped.  that was 15 years ago and I am crying as i write this.  the day i left, the supervisor thanked me and said "you could of had all our asses for Harrassment" and never turned us in.  so thank you.  so, kelly, do you have a case??

I'm sorry you are having to deal with all the pettiness there at work Kelly!  It sucks to not like going in to work!  Been there, done that!  Hope things turn around for you or people realize how silly they are being!   Maybe something will come along for you??!!??   I'll keep my fingers crossed and say some prayers for you!  Good luck!

I know how you feel.  I hate my job now, too. Im doing my best to find something with comparable pay without a lot more hours because next week Im taking an almost 20% paycut. I dont even want to see my manager or any member of administration since Id rather spit in thier faces rather than look at them.

It sucks, I'm sorry you have the same issues.  It just makes everything else so much harder.

I know I was really hoping to have something else lined up so I could walk out without previous notice on the same day the paycut goes into effect. As it is once I get a new job I may force myself to stay so I can have 2 incomes for a while, even though I know Im not going to like it.

I understand that, if it weren't for the money I would apply for something different for now just to get out of here.

Sorry to hear things are still crappy.  I am getting nervous because no one has checked references yet on the interview I went on so I have a feeling I didn't get the job.  I am getting really frustrated too.  Keep your chin up and Prozac flowing.  :(
