Canning moose meat

guess  what i am doing???   Meat  was  delivered yesterday  and i am busy this morning.  the next batch i will add garlic and hot spice to it.

had some  breakfast sausage this morning and it was great.  and agreed with my pouchy just fine.

Yikes, I wouldn't even begin to know how to can meat!  I have a few hundred pounds coming my way soon.... guess I better learn!

we  froze  all the hamburg  sausage and  steaks

i had  80 pounds of stew meat  cut so   i  could can about  40  pounds and my  stepmom could can hers too

real simple kelly      pack  a quart jaw that is  hot and clean with  raw meat  add seasoning if you want   then process in a pressure canner  for  90 minutes.     i like moose meat the best that way

Sorry, but I have to agre with Kathi on this one!  I can't eat any "wild" meat at all!  I've heard it's good for you and all............I just CAN'T do it!!!!

 lol  to  each   of us are different that is what makes the world go round

i dont eat liver yuck  or  freshwater fish  yuck yuck yuck   lol  i will eat  shrimp  clams  haddock lobster scallops  but that is all for  ocean stuff  so you all keep your tuna and salmon and trout and i will keep  my moose lol
