Stomach Pain

Last night I seemed to have tons of gas (had no problem with getting some out :)) and took some gas X strips to help with the pain.  Was in terrible pain all night and ended up taking more gas X at 1 am.  Still having pain though is is more centered in my middle (feels like someone is twisting my stomach).  Getting worried.  I am having bowel sounds and able to toot , but belly is still very painful.  Any ideas.  Haven't eaten any gassy foods and didn't have any gas pains even after surgery so this is new to me.  I also have no gall bladder.  Not sure if this is a surgical question or I am just getting the stomach flu. 

well as long as your having gas and tooting I would wait it out, I would think and blame it on the gas.  (DR I'm not)  but once the gas goes away and if the pain remains, then I'd consider calling the Real Dr.    keep walking and tooting.  let us know how it goes. good luck

i  would  call the surgeons office  just to be on the safe side??? 

I would be worried about an ulcer or a hernia.  You should just call, better safe than sorry.

I get bad gas pains too.  I would call if it does not get any better

I think I am slowly feeling better.  I called Dr. Toder's office and spoke with the nurse.  Waiting for her call back after she talks with the doctor.  I got really crampy and in alot of pain after lunch but that is doing better and am hoping that the food digesting will help.

The nurse called me back and is going to send in a prescription for something to try for a few days.  If that doesnt help then Dr. T wants to see me Friday.  Well the RX better work because I am going to New York on Friday.

The pain comes and goes and is not as bad as it was last night.  I get very crampy when eating meals and feel way more bloated these past couple of days.  I was able to have a BM and felt better too.  I am still real crampy and sore right on my stomach.  I will massage it tonight to see if tha helps until I can get the prescription.  I wonder how much that will cost?  As now I dont have coverage for prescriptions

Well I decided to fill the prescription at $166.09.  It is for Prevacid 30 MG.  I hope it starts to work soon as I am not feeling too great.  The pain is definitely centered in my tummy and feels like it is in a vice grip.  If I don't start feeling better after a few days on Previcid I will need to see Dr. Toder probably on Monday. 

Did you fill it already? I would have given you some of mine to see if it worked first.  That is a LOT of money.  If you need to cancel this weekend you can, I will understand. I don't want you to be in pain.  Hope it works (fingers crossed).
