I saw Dr Cutie.. I mean Claytor this am.  Even though the pain is a whole lot better, he is going to go in and repair the scar tissue and the little dog ear I have on my hip from the pannic at the same time.  Preop appt is Nov 2nd and surgery is on Nov 13th. Will be out about a week from work.

Insurance approval?  This isn't cosmetic, I hate insurance companies!  Let us know how it goes.

Hi Kelly,

No,  I had a panniculectomy and that was covered by insurance because of my skin hydritenitis (sp?)  So therefore, they should also cover this medical issue.  My insurance company is pretty fast, so I shouldn't have to wait too long. Just a formality.

ETA: I did opt to have a tummy tuck at the same time, which is considered to be cosmedic.  I paid for that portion ($3500) on my own. Dr C is going to also send info to insurance for my thighs because I have the same skin issues there as well.
