Moose hunt

Home from  our  trip

Got a 624 cow  on wednesday at  3:30  We had her  out of the woods at  6 pm.

I have never seen so many moose in my life.   I understand now why they  have a cow hunt the second  week   to keep the herd  healthy.   we saw  22 moose in one are in   one day.  so we  hunted that  area tuesday and wednesday.

I walked walked walked.   by  wednesday my hips and  back stopped being sore.  I guess i made lots of muscle  as i didnt lose any weight and  was real good about  eating.
but  I  never would of been able to walk the mountain i walked  three times on tuesday.

It was wonderful to  do this with my dad.

It's amazing the WOW's we realize daily- all that walking. You couldn't have done that before surgery and weight loss.

Congratulations!!!   Isn't it nice not to huff and puff.  The only complaint I have now is I am FREEZING all the time!!!!

That's amazing to be able to go out and do this stuff now. I never would have gone before.  You saw tons of moose. We only saw about six all week and finally saw one big enough to shoot on Friday.  My daughter was some proud of herself, and her father was just glowing with pride.  Sounds like a great thing to do with your Dad.
