Getting Back On Track
For some reason I have been way off schedule regarding my morning medications. Some days I forget completely about taking them. I have no excuse as I keep them on my end table and look at them sitting there. I will look at the time and its noon before I take them. I am much better at taking my vitamins and calcium and I don't understand this. I have set my alarm for 8 a.m to so that I will remember to take them. Another concern that I have is not getting in all my fluids for the day. I start as soon as I wake up and it takes me half the day to drink 16 oz and the other half of the day for another 16 oz. I don't know how I will make 64 oz in a day at this rate. This frustrates me. I am not dehydrated as far as I can tell. I will continue to work on it but what a challenge it is. I try to speed up my drinking and try to get in 3 sips at a time and it always leads to getting backed up. Any suggestions would be helpful. Otherwise everything else is going well. I will find out on Tuesday how much more weight I have lost. At that point it will be about a week and 1/2 since my last weight check.
Getting a schedule down, early out, is hard to do, but very important. Setting the alarm, like you did, is a great idea! Sipping those fluids all day is the only way I got mine in early out. I carried a water bottle with me everyehwere! I've found that I do better with those poland spring sport top bottles too..........I seem to drink more with those than when I am just using a glass. It IS a challenge early on, but it DOES get easier! Keep on doing what you're doing.......it'll get better!!
Setting the alarm is a great idea! Getting fluids in is definitely tough, but remember that all fluids (protein shakes, etc.) count also. I know that I would give myself 3 hours to drink a 16oz. bottle of water, then if I got at least 3 in during the day I was all set due to my added liquids from my shakes, etc. Just keep plugging away and it will get easier, I promise! Good luck with the appt. on Tuesday.
