Fellow Mainer update

Don't know if you guys remember my friend Annette.  Some of you saw her at the monthly support group back in July.  She had to have her band off due to complications from bronchitis and coughing it up thru the band.  Anyway, she came in yesterday...she's been bummed cause she's gained 20 lbs since then.  She is scheduled for November 12th for a gastric bypass.  She's still fighting with the insurance company but she'll be self pay if she has to be to get the surgery.  I'm happy for her..she's had such a rough year since getting the band on in February.    Keep her in your thoughts.  I'll keep you up to date when her date comes.

Yes... I met her at the support group when she was in the hospital.  That is too bad about the weight gain.  Hopefully that will show the insurance company how much she needs the surgery.  I will keep my fingers crossed.  Please let her know I am thinking of her and glad she has recovered from her band removal. 

I'm glad she is able to move forward, but I know she was really hoping to have her band put back on.  I will keep her in my thoughs, and tell her we are all routing for her!
